Adieu Dr. Ulumma,

Emeka let the world know you were special, every chance he got. He never could go without talking about you with that glitter in his eyes - the glittering eyes of a man deeply in love.

We finally met you on your wedding day, we were convinced. We were happy because you two were so clearly made for each other. And that's why this pill is particularly bitter, too bitter to swallow. Why would death separate these two?

We are grieving. May God grant your dear husband and your family the grace and fortitude to trust God at this most difficult time. May your gentle soul find rest in the Lord. Amen.

Adieu Dr. Vivian, do rest in peace.

Vivien

I only knew Vivian for a few months but she has made a lifelong impression on my soul. Some people come in to our lives for a Season, a reason or a lifetime. She is with me for a lifetime.

Ngozi Lucy Opara

My dear Dr. Vivian, it's so sad that things turned out this way, but who are we to question God. May your gentle soul continue to rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord. Adieu beloved sister, you're forever in our minds.

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom......"

That was the scripture that came to my heart when I heard that your gentle soul had departed this turbulent world.

It was your kindness that gave birth to our friendship; your diligence and hardwork that helped us sail through our exams; your hospitality was legendary and your ebullience contagious. I celebrate you, dearest Vivian.

May God grant you eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord and give your family the fortitude to bear this great loss. Amen

Vivian,

I can’t believe that you are gone. The last time I spoke to you, you were so excited about the new year and you had a lots of plans.

I am just in a very confused state now, I keep asking myself what happened?, is this possible? How can a lady so friendly an full of smiles just leave us.

For the short time I knew you, you made such a big impression in my mind. When I visited your home you were so warm and so sweet.

I know you are resting in peace, away from all the pain and sorrows of this earth.

May God grant Emeka the heart to carry on.

You will forever be in our hearts.

Ben Nweke

Dr Vivian, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Adieu Dr. Ulumma,

Reading through your brief life story, one can only see great achievements in a short while, a promising life yet a sudden painful exit.

One can only imagine the pains all those close to you are dealing with.

God grant your soul the desired rest, and the grace to heal from your loss to all that shared your life with you, In Christ Jesus name - Amen.

Darling Dr Vivian

Writing a tribute to a very remarkable lady Dr Vivian is a very difficult task to undertake; this is because word alone cannot express our feelings. It is somewhat surreal and sad to accept that you are no longer with us. Vivian, our question is why too soon, gone like a wind? It is with heavy heart that our family is mourning, this unplanned departure. It was hard to accept that you have gone, for days it seems to us like a dream and so our brains refuse to process the information because we felt in our hearts that you were still alive. We could not believe that last Christmas was the last time you will be among the people that love you sharing gifts and making plans with your beloved husband Emeka.

When we visited you at hospital, we were saddened because we did not see the charming smile that ignites. If we could reverse what happened to you, we would have done everything possible to make sure that we never let you go.

On the other hand, it is great to have the opportunity to celebrate your life in the company of so many of your nearest and dearest. Your death came at the peak of your life and brought sorrow to all who knew you. Death is an invitation, universal silencer that carries its might openly without fear of opposition appears from the rear and takes away our loved one. There are no words to describe the utter grief, shock and sorrow when we received the news of your unfortunate departure.

Dr Vivian you left us when we needed you. It may be that the Almighty GOD needed you more than we do. We thank God for joyful and courageous life you lived. We do not really want to say goodbye, so we will just wish you eternal peace. Rest in peace and rise in glory.

Vivian!!! I am still in shock.

I remember clearly your smile as you introduced yourself to me over 9 years ago as I walked out of our PLAB exams. That smile brought us together to a beautiful friendship. I cannot believe that your smile has left this earth. You were full of life, smiles, ambitions, laughter and love. The world has indeed lost a brilliant, intelligent, caring and beautiful soul. Adieu my friend. I know your time on earth looks extremely short to us but, I believe that God took you because you are one of the BEST. To your husband and family who you loved so much, I pray God gives them strength to bear this great loss. I know you would watch over them with a chariot of angels. I continue to miss you everyday.....
